Audio

I just ended a near-5-year run at Pushkin Industries, where I helped build the company and its operations from the ground up. Most recently, I was tasked with bringing client projects on board. I’ve worked with brands such as IBM, Apple, Cadillac, Tracksmith, Johns Hopkins University, Lexus, The Rockefeller Foundation, and more.

Programs of note I’ve sold and executive produced include:

  • Legacy of Speed, a documentary-style podcast, produced for Tracksmith and PUMA, and hosted by Malcolm Gladwell

  • Go and See, a documentary-style podcast about Lexus’s human-centered design ethos

  • Smart Talks with IBM, an interview-style podcast highlighting IBM’s tech innovations

  • Time to Walk, an audio fitness program featuring non-narrated stories by celebrities recorded while walking — Pushkin’s largest white label project for Apple Fitness+

Audio Accolades:

  • New York Times Best Podcasts of 2022, Legacy of Speed, produced in partnership with Tracksmith and PUMA

  • Tribeca X 2023 Official Selection for Branded Audio, Legacy of Speed

  • AdWeek Best Technology Podcast of 2022, Smart Talks with IBM

I worked at Megaphone (formerly Panoply Media) from 2017 to 2019. What started as primarily an operations and oversight role morphed into a do-it-all, all-the-time role.

I oversaw all of Panoply's owned and operated shows, including Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History and Karina Longworth's You Must Remember This. I worked very closely with our team of producers to manage show budgets, new show launches, and contract freelancers. A large part of my role relied on cross-functional team communication and collaboration. I made sure the editorial team and the sales and marketing teams were in lock step when launching new content.

For about six months, I ran Pinna, the children's podcast service Panoply launched. I did everything from managing budgets and keeping up with each show's production schedule, along with creating the content strategy and programming calendar. I identified new content for Pinna to acquire, negotiated rates, and worked through contracting with those partners.

Before leaving Panoply/Megaphone in April 2019, I took on the role of overseeing Panoply's branded content production, which included branded podcasts and creative ads that traffic through the Megaphone Targeted Marketplace

Digital Media

I was with Fast Company for nearly five years. It's where I grounded myself in digital media. There, I got to create several iOS apps and an OTT app for their video content. By learning through osmosis, I figured out how to work with tech teams, manage up, and develop unique product offerings. I further solidified my product management skills, working across teams, and doing tons of research.

Magazines

I love magazines and was fortunate enough to get to work at several large publishing companies (Rodale, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia) throughout my career. I grew my production chops in the industry, learned how to manage processes and people, and how to navigate very challenging office politics.
